Several types of files can be downloaded from the Internet: documents, images, videos, applications, including browser extensions and toolbars. Save under a different name, with a different type, or in a different folder on your computer. Execute an application, extension, or other type of file. After Internet Explorer completes a security check, the file will open and run on your computer. Cancel the download and return to web browsing. You can also save smaller files, such as individual pictures, to your computer. To do this, right-click an image, link, or file object and select Save Image or Save Target As.
